New Ozone Ideas

New research has revealed that Venus has an ozone layer. The layer is much less dense than ours and three times higher – but it is there all the same.

Ozone had, at one time, be thought to be indicative of life (there is an ozone layer around Mars – interesting?!) but there may now need to be a re-think on this idea.

How was the ozone found? By the European Space Agencies Venus Express craft.

    Dave,

Why does not a similar effect occur on the surface of the Earth? If it would we will have less of Greenhouse gases in our Earth’s atmosphere and Global warming will be less of an issue.
